One outcome of the moniker “fake news” becoming a household term in the last 6 months is that many people woke up to the truth that our government and health system don’t deserve our blind trust. Honestly, they never have.

However, we’ve been conditioned to simply believe what someone with a certain title tells us. We’ve been trained to shut off our own brains. We’ve been encouraged not to do research as well. Thankfully, no longer.
