Government's have a general capacity, under their ordinary mandate to protect public health, to issue quarantine orders.
The problem is that many of these orders are now being issued not for someone to remain at home but rather to accept confinement at the person's own expense in a hospital or other medical facility.
I have a one-word reply for that: NO.
The second response I'm sure you can figure out.
Government does not have the right to compel you to spend an unlimited amount of money determined by someone else. Any such demand is in fact armed robbery on an immediate, imminent basis and deserves exactly the same response as does a thug kicking down your door at 2:00 AM with the same intent -- BECAUSE IT IS AN ACT TAKEN WITH THE EXACT SAME INTENT.
If governments wish to order people to hospitals or other medical facilities (as opposed to quarantine in their own homes or other residences) they must present said person with 100% indemnity for all cost of same.
This is not negotiable.
