No kidding it is spreading all over the internet 10TV. It is another example of an appalling lack of good judgement by in this case the Logan Police department and state health department. First it is obvious that the woman is with her family and socially distanced from everyone else. She is also outdoors and therefore shouldn’t need to wear a mask. Lastly, there isn’t a state law which was vetted through public hearings that says people should wear masks, let alone outdoors, that should be enforced by the police department.

The state health department needs to rescind all outdoor mask wearing requirements and eliminate the fines for not wearing one. I’m sure most people will still wear them indoors. However again the data, supplied by the state, does not match up with the mask wearing requirements. The mask mandate went into full effect a couple weeks after infections peaked. Again this is according to the states own data.

For those of you out there who say that these government experts can do no wrong, yes they can and do all of the time. Just try to find a scientific paper which shows causality in mask wearing outdoors to reduced spread when people are socially distanced. There isn’t one. (I will be posting about the Louisville case in another post.)
