Renishaw Hall here I come
I bought a new ordnance Survey map last week. Sheet number 269, Chesterfield and Alfreton. I think it's going to be useful for finding new places to walk. I used it when I went to Bolsover. Today was sunny so another day out. There is a village not far from junction 30 of the M1, called Spinkhill, so off I went. I found a place to park opposite the church. I had a route in mind across fields. There are a lot of footpaths around here. There is a big college in Spinkhill, but I didn't see much of that.
With all the rain we have had lately, the fields were quite boggy. I squelched through it. I stopped to chat with a woman and her little boy. She told me about Renishaw Hall. It sounded like a good place to head for.
This is the entrance. A walk down a long drive.
Oh wow, look at that. This is the front of it.
And this is the back view.
I will sort the photo's out and post them tomorrow. I am chilling now with a glass of wine. Catch ya later. ilona
