Shire Horse Show

Hello. I've had a fabulous afternoon out at Newark Showground for the Shire Horse Show. Here are a few pics. There will be some more tomorrow, and I have a couple of videos which I will upload onto yoootooob tomorrow. Look at these magnificent animals. Aren't they fantastic.  

It was cold, but well worth the effort to go. I was due another trip out somewhere, so I checked the Showground web sites to see what was on. There was a crafts and gifts tent and guess what I found. The cheese makers stall, the same one from Burton Upon Trent that I bought some from at Lincoln in December. I had to have some didn't I. Five different flavours for £20. Fantastic. It's lovely cheese. 

I had a chat to a very nice lady when I was photographing her horse. Very interesting to know a bit more about the horse and how they get it ready for a show. They came up from Devon. I was going to photograph some of the horse boxes but I didn't have time. 

Now I am a bit tired, so I'll say goodnight, and we will catch up tomorrow. Toodle pip.   ilona
